Succeed Interoperability Workshop Agenda

Succeed has organized an Interoperability Workshop to discuss best practices and possibilities for cooperation on a technical level between European Centres of Competence and Digital infrastructures. The workshop will take place on Thursday 2 October 2014 at the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague.

Impact at CERL ANNUAL SEMINAR 2014

Impact will be next 28th of October in CERL ANNUAL SEMINAR 2014 'The Application of Text Encoding Facilities to Digital Versions of European Early Books', that will take place in the National Library of Oslo (Norway). In the conference, Tomasz Parkoła (Digital Libraries Team, Supercomputing and Networking Center, Poznan) will talk about 'The Impact Centre of Competence: tools for text digitisation and transcription'.

400 initiatives in the Map of the European Digitisation Landscape

We have almost 400 initiatives, including networks, projects, private companies and institutions active in digitisation and related field, in the MAP OF THE EUROPEAN DIGITISATION LANDSCAPE, a project that has been developed by Succeed, which aims to identify active projects, centres of competence, networks and any other initiatives to help pinpoint stakeholders, future needs and options for the exploitation of digitised content.

Demonstrator Platform

The Demonstrator Platform allows you  to check last tools about text digitisation. Every tool has a specific functionality related to OCR, to the the pre- and post-processing stages. They include new approaches in areas such as image enhancement, segmentation, and document structuring, alongside existing and experimental OCR engines.
