On 1 January 2008 the project IMPACT – Improving access to text started. Now, three years on, the first results of the project are clearly visible and ready for testing. We would like to invite you for the first IMPACT Demo Day (in Dutch), where the Dutch team will bring you up to speed in the latest developments in the field of Optical Character Recognition and specifically the Adaptive OCR Engine. You will also hear more about the set-up of a European Centre of Competence, which will stimulate the use of IMPACT products.
