The 15th edition of the Digital Library Conference will be held at the Ski & Wellness Residence Družba, in Slovakia, from the 1st to the 3rd of April, 2014. On its 15th occurrence, the Digital Library Conference will cover topics such as best practices in digitisation; presentation of digital content and services based on digital content; mobile digital library; and repositories and open access, touching on Europeana-related activities, and advanced ICT technologies for digital libraries.
During the conference, PSNC representatives will give two presentations. The first one, titled “Cultural Heritage Institutions, Metadata Aggregators and The Cloud”, will consider various approaches to applying cloud technologies to digital libraries. The second, named “Succeed with us: recommendations for mass digitization projects”, will present the first results of the Succeed project, and the recommendations elaborated within the work package responsible for normalisation and standardisation.
