The conference is organised by HELDIG – the Helsinki Centre for Digital Humanities at the University of Helsinki\, the Faculty of Arts. \nIn 2018\, the conference seeks to extend the scope of digital humanities research covered\, both into new areas\, as well as beyond the Nordic and Baltic countries. This year\, the conference welcomes in particular work related to the following themes: History\, Cultural Heritage\, Games\, and Future. \nThe overarching theme this year is Open Science. This pragmatic concept emphasises the role of transparent and reproducible research practices\, open dissemination of results\, and new forms of collaboration\, all greatly facilitated by digitalisation. All proposals are invited to reflect on the benefits\, challenges\, and prospects of open science for their own research. Please see the full CFP for more information.[/cs_text][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_recent_posts type=”post” count=”4″ offset=”” category=”IPRES2018″ orientation=”vertical” no_sticky=”true” no_image=”false” fade=”false”][x_recent_posts type=”post” count=”2″ offset=”” category=”DHN2018″ orientation=”vertical” no_sticky=”true” no_image=”false” fade=”false”][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
