The European Commission has rated as 'Excellent' the Succeed project resultsThe final evaluation of the Succeed took place last 19th of February, at the University of Alicante during a meeting of the committee of experts appointed by the European Commission (EC) with the Succeed consortium members, formed by the University of Alicante, the Virtual Library Miguel de Cervantes Foundation, the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the Instituut voor Nederlandse Lexicologie, the Fraunhofer IAIS, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, the University of Salford, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the British Library. New Interoperability Framework versionThe Impact Centre of Competence has launched a new version of its Interoperability Framework tool, that includes important improvements. This tool has been developed by the Succeed Project, a support action funded by the European Union, that promoted the take up and validation of research results in mass digitisation, with a focus on textual content. Take-up of tools within the Succeed project: Implementation of the INL Lexicon Service in Delpher.nlDelpher is a joint initiative of the Meertens Institute of Research and documentation of Dutch language and culture, the university libraries of Amsterdam (UvA), Groningen, Leiden and Utrecht, and the National Library of the Netherlands, to bring together the otherwise fragmented access to digitized historical text corpora.
